Q. Who is Designdirect?

Q. Is your website secure for credit card transactions?
A. Yes, Designdirect uses SAGEpay which is an encrypted payment gateway. Security is very important to us and therefore Visa card transactions are verified by 3D Secure. We also offer Paypal as a form of secure payment. This means that all the data you provide is safe and secure.

Q. What forms of payment can you take?
A. SAGEpay is the payment platform and through this you can use VISA, VISA Debit, VISA Electron, Mastercard & Maestro - you can also pay by Paypal. We hope to have the facility to take American Express payments in the future.

Q. How do I buy online from your website?
A. Browse through our range of products by clicking on one of the main categories on the left hand side of the page and then a sub category list will appear. Click on the products that you are interested in and then select 'Buy' to add them to your basket. You can also search for products you require by using the search facility. Once you have added the product to the basket you can either continue shopping to buy more products or simply go to the checkout. You will then be asked to enter your name and address (if you have not registered) and also a delivery address if this is different to the invoice address. Choose your method of payment and follow the payment instructions.

Q. How long will my order take to be delivered?
A. We have various delivery options. If the product you require is in stock you have the option to upgrade your order to a guaranteed next day delivery and even a next day morning delivery. This applies to mainland UK but does not include Highlands and Islands. Standard delivery is 1-2 days.

Q. Do you have to be a Member to buy from Designdirect?
A. No, you don’t have to be a registered member to buy from us. The reason we have a login section is so you don’t have to enter your details every time you want to purchase from us. However, there are advantages of being a member, e.g. we let you know about special offers before anyone else.

Q Will my details be used for Marketing Purposes?
A. We will not pass your details on to any third party organisations however you may receive Special Offers & Newsletters from Designdirect from time to time via email or post. Should you wish to opt out from these please email: sales@designdirectsupplies.com

Q. What is a back order?
A. A back order refers to products which are currently out of stock but you can still add these to your basket and pay for them but it will not be shipped until they come back into stock.

Q. How do I return my item?
A. Any shortage or damage to goods must be notified within 48 hours by email or on 0141 445 1199. Returns Policy.
